Software Engineering Intern—Beijing / Shanghai
Position based in Beijing and Shanghai, China.
Google has an exciting and innovative summer internship program for students
pursuing degrees in Computer Science or a closely related area. If you are
interested in working with some of the best software engineers and
researchers on some of the hottest technology present on the web, then this
internship is for you. Google offers opportunities to solve fascinating
problems in many different areas of computer science including: building
large-scale distributed file systems, designing and improving software that 云南人才.net
can crawl and index billions of web pages, applying machine learning
techniques to learn relationships and associations within our data.
Requirements:
Currently pursuing a BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related technical
field.
Extensive experience in Systems Software or Algorithms.
Excellent implementation skills (C++, Python).
Knowledge of UNIX/Linux or Windows environments and APIs.
Familiarity with TCP/IP and network programming is a plus.

Job Title: Interaction Design Intern - Beijing
Responsibilities:
Helping to define the user model and user interface for new and existing
Google products and features.
Developing high level and/or detailed storyboards, mockups and prototypes
to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
Gauging the usability of new and existing products, and making
constructive suggestions for change.
Requirements: WWW.YNRC.NET
Solid academic background in design, human-computer interaction,
psychology or related field.
Demonstrated experience in designing usable web-based interfaces.
Expert HTML skills.
Strong, clean visual design sense.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Fluency in both Chinese and English.

Job Title: User Experience Researcher Intern – Beijing
Responsibilities:
Help us find out about our users! Google is looking for User Experience 云南求职 YNRC.NET
Researchers at all levels, to design and conduct user research studies
throughout the product cycle. You will use a range of methods, working
closely with UI designers and product teams to define new products, assess
the usability of prototypes, and influence the future direction of
existing products.
You will have the opportunity to work on products of all types: web sites
like Google search and AdWords, web applications like Gmail and Google
Maps, client applications like Picasa and Google Earth, and mobile
services like Google SMS.
Knowledge of or experience with any of the following is a big plus:
? Early-stage user research methods such as contextual inquiry, paper
prototyping, card sorting, personas
? Working with product teams to ensure that user research findings are
tracked
and acted on
? Design and analysis of experiments or surveys

? Analysis of web server log data
? Web design/HTML
? Programming/scripting
? Eye-tracking
? Testing applications for mobile devices

Requirements:
Studying towards a Bachelors, Masters or above in Human-Computer
Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, Computer Science, or related field
Academic or practical knowledge of user research methods, including
lab-based usability studies, field studies, and usability inspections
(heuristic evaluations or cognitive walkthroughs)
Excellent analytical ability, especially with regard to observation of
user behavior
Strong oral and written communication skills; can present findings
concisely and effectively
Can work independently and effectively prioritize time between multiple
projects
Flexible: can adapt to changing schedules and different types of products, 云南人才.net
and develop new user research methods where needed
Can work well in cross-functional teams, including Engineers, Product
Managers, and UI Designers
Training in research methods and statistics
Excellent oral and written English communication skills
